  • Finding the perfect trainer can be very difficult, and most often discouraging. I went through three different trainers before working with Nina, and when I connected with her there was no looking back. Nina has a way about her that allows her to adapt fully to your needs. I had always been a lean girl, but I lacked strength, and a healthy foundation. I was so inspired by Nina’s success in building lean muscle, that I wanted to build the same foundation for myself. Nina went above and beyond to not only customize a plan that works just for me, but she also provided me with a knowledge that I could never put put a price tag on. She is always extremely responsive, and not only kicked my butt at the gym, but helped me build a realistic meal plan, that was easy and sustainable. As we embark on our fitness journey, many of us experience a plateau, or find ourselves falling off the rail. I too went through a period where I put on a lot of weight, and was heavier than I had ever been. I not only felt like I let myself down, but I felt like I let Nina down as well. What most people fail to realize is that mentality is the key to your success, and without Nina’s patience, and continuous motivation, I would have never been able to get back to my ‘ideal’ body. Not only was I able to cut all the weight I had gained, but I am the strongest and healthiest I have ever been!   • My experience with Nina and TrainBrazen has been life changing!
    I am sure everyone one would agree that anyone can work out and hit the gym, but with Nina it was so much more than that. Even on my hardest days (long day at work/unable to focus) Nina would be able to reel me in and encourage me to get past the days junk and focus on the task at hand; not easy for me to do at times.

    Nina has become so much more than a trainer. She has become a valued friend. I often look forward to our gym sessions, knowing not only was I going to get a great workout but I was going to get rid of all the days stresses and feel better once complete. Nina helped me not only with my physical goals but dietary as well. This encouraged me to go back to school to become a nutritionist which was something I had only been thinking about for a short time.   • What makes TrainBrazen different from other trainers/programs I’ve worked with was her process. My past experiences were: here’s a workout plan – get at it! Which may work for some but wasn’t for me. Nina’s process was so refreshing! She booked time with me to look at my previous workout plans, asked me what I like, what I don’t like and why. Then she took the time to educate me on why some of the exercises I was doing would not get me to my specific goals. She took the time to create a workout based on my goals; and let me tell you how much I LOVED my workouts! So much so that I looked forward to my time at the gym.   • As a former varsity athlete with some previous knowledge and experience in regards to weight lifting, I was looking to get back into "game shape" and I needed to find a trainer who not only understood the athlete mentality but also understood the need for functional fitness improvement rather than just aesthetics. Nina was the trainer I found and could not be happier with the individual attention I received. She spoke with me at the outset to understand my goals, understand my previous injuries and limitations, prior to developing my workout plan - a truly collaborative experience. Throughout my plan we had regular check-ins to discuss progress, areas of concern and setbacks (they do happen). I really enjoyed the fact that even when I seemed down or disappointed with a check-in, Nina had a different way of looking at things and had tips or tricks to work through a plateau or area I was struggling with. She was just as invested in me and my progress as I was. I can honestly say that Nina is by far the best trainer I have ever had and even after my official program ended with her, she has kept in touch. I have gained a new friend through this process and commend her for always being there to offer her support and answer the odd workout question.   • If you know Nina on a personal level she's pretty awesome, so having her as a personal trainer is equally as awesome of an experience for me! She is a motivated, passionate individual in her own goals which is reflected in how she feels about the goals of her clients. My workout plans were catered to my personal needs/goals and it is clear that there was much time and effort put into making these plans. In the first few weeks of trying these workout plans Nina was extremely involved and communicative to ensure that I was comfortable with everything, yet still being challenged. If anything needed to be adjusted or explained she was easily available and ready to do so. She is also flexible (to a point haha) when it comes to exercises you prefer vs. those that aren't your favourite. Nina and Train Brazen were able to create a personalized plan I felt comfortable with while providing me with motivation to achieve my goals.
